TGIF!! I’m so excited about this weekend!! Today I’m going to the FashioNXT show which is the premiere fashion event here in Portland. This will be my first time attending and I can’t wait to see what the designers have included in their collections. I am especially looking forward to the Wendy Ohlendorf and Stephanie D Couture collections. If you want to keep tabs on the show with me follow my Snapchat (@onepotslop) and I’ll be posting updates and behind the scenes all night.
This #OOTD is a fav of mine. If you’ve noticed on the blog lately my cool weather uniform is skinny jeans, boots (ankle, OTK, whatever) and a long sleeve top like this sweater. There’s just something so cool about OTK boots with jeans and a loose top. If you are still looking for the perfect OTK boots that won’t break the bank, Steve Madden makes the best ones hands down. They are comfortable, the suede is so soft, and they stay up, which is obviously a requirement. I linked a few pairs below including a grey pair I’m lusting after.
I’m also excited because Jesse is taking me on a fancy date night tomorrow night at one of Portland’s best steak restaurants, El Gaucho. I’ve only been once before and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. It also has a very romantic atmosphere with dim lighting, white table linens, and cozy accents and you can bet your a$$ I have been planning my outfit for the past week LOL We are also checking out a 1920’s inspired bar and anything that is described as a “jazz-age inspired cocktail lounge” makes it to the top of my ‘must try’ list.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I’ll see you soon on Snapchat, or if that’s not your thing, right here on the blog =)

OTK boots: Steve Madden (out of stock but these and these are similar in Taupe and both are under $100! I am also in love and dying for these!), Jeans: Express, Sweater: Target, Bag: Rebeccca Minkoff (this is the exact bag in grey which would go perfect with those OTK boots! This one is similar and comes in 2 neutral colors)
