Last Friday I attended day 3 of the FashioNXT shows and it was such an amazing night. It’s always so inspiring and refreshing for me to go see the shows and runway couture so I can keep the blog interesting for you and fun for me! They also showed some of the best fashion I’ve seen here in Portland. My favorite collection had to be Walter Collection by Walter Mendez and these were a few of the looks I loved the most.
Other designers I loved were Wendy Ohlendorf and Stephanie D Couture which were more ready to wear designs, but there’s something about runway couture that inspires me and renews my excitement for fashion. If it’s gorgeous and inspiring it’s my cup o’ tea.
As far as what I wore, I wanted to play on the transition from Summer to Fall but still be warm and comfortable so I opted for this beautiful long sleeve, floral dress from Lulu’s and a pair of OTK boots for warmth, comfort and a bit of sexy sass! The gold hoop earrings I wore also gave the whole thing a 70’s vibe which I was more than happy with.
I went with another blogger friend of mine, Brittany from The B List Blog, and we had such a good time on the red carpet and taking snaps for Snapchat (if you don’t follow me @onepotslop you missed out!). Here are few snap shots of what we wore:
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this behind the scenes feature with FashioNXT! I’ll be attending the Portland Fashion and Style Awards soon and if you want to keep up with me and what I’m up to follow me on Snapchat, I’m becoming more and more addicted lol
