TGIF!! Lately I’ve been living for the weekends and I know it’s because I feel most productive then (ironically enough) and I get to spend time with my guy and doing things I’m passionate about.
This weekend I have family get togethers, photo shoots, store events, dates with my guy and maybe just enough time for a mini adventure and some relaxation (raise your hand if you’d like me to do another post on “me time” , or just comment or something, I’m flexible).
I’m actually really happy because spring in Portland means rain, and we’ve been getting a lot of it lately. This weekend though we get 2 out of 3 days with sun!! As your typical Sag I love trying new things and adventures so every time the weather is nice (or even not really) I dream of stealing my man away on little adventures in the area. I’m thinking that needs to happen this weekend so stay tuned via Insta Stories and Snapchat if you’re curious about my shenanigans…
Now on to this look! Easter is coming up quick and if you have a family function, a church function, or anything that requires being clothed… this dress is the perfect option to look nice and feel comfortable for egg hunts and lots of food. I love the high neck line, beautiful embroidery detail and tie back, which all make it special, but the denim material keeps it low key so you don’t feel like you are the dressiest one there and you’re being judged by a family of Romeos and sweatshirts, if you know what I mean…
If you add a small bag and a pair of shoes you won’t roll your ankle in running around a field looking for colored eggs, all will be well. Also, in case you missed the title of this article, this is the first of 2 (if not 3…) Easter looks I’ll be providing inspiration for, just in case you aren’t a dress person or what have you.
So what are your weekend plans? Are you looking forward to Easter or do you have another favorite holiday? Hit me up on Instagram and Snapchat and let me know what you’re up to this weekend (and see what I’m up to as well)!
Thanks for reading babes, I really love you for it and I’ll see you next week!
