A Dress For Date Night

TGIF!! It’s kind of embarrassing how many “date night” dresses I have… I mean I’ve styled date night looks here, here, here and here (plus a few others and that’s just in the last 6 months!) and then hint at my super cute babe about taking me out on a fun date night so I can wear one of these for a night (if you’re reading this love… ). So here is one more to add to my collection.

First of all, I snagged this dress at, where else, Sloan (one of my favorite Portland boutiques) so I’m extra excited because I love gorgeous dresses and I love supporting small businesses. The owner, Karalee, is also super nice and every time she recognizes me from OPS I geek out more than a little.

There are 4 things I love about this dress: the fit and flare cut which is probably the most flattering for a pear shaped body like mine, the beautiful floral print that’s oh so feminine, the long, sheer sleeves perfect for transitioning into fall, and the fact that the deeper V neck is deep enough to show a bit of cleavage but not so deep you can’t wear a regular bra with it #winning I was wearing my trusty nude bra here and I used fashion tape (also from Sloan) to secure it down so if I had to do the bend-and-snap it wouldn’t look like the bend-and-nip slip

The earrings are also from Sloan and the exact pair of heels are out of stock but I linked items below that are similar if you’re in the market for a new date night dress. And if you are ever coming to the Portland area hit me up and I can tell you where to eat, stay, shop, and play!

I’m actually excited for date nights because after next week my guy will be on a bit of a break and hopefully will treat me to a fun night out (maybe dancing! – ok am I being too obvious? LoL)

Q: What’s the best date you’ve ever been on? Leave me a comment below!

Thanks for stopping by OPS today, I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
